Function Rooms

Please note we don’t take bookings for:

  • any BIRTHDAY PARTIES for ages 25 and under, unless you are a member of our club. You must get permission from the clubs management team first so please call us!

  • functions that aren’t going to spend money behind the bar; we cannot hire our FREE rooms out without money being spent at the bar to support the club


Concert Room

The concert room is our largest function room and is where our bands perform on Saturdays. The concert room is hireable on Friday nights and Sunday nights but we only hire out for large parties and you must spend over £500 behind the bar!

It is also available midweek but will need to be agreed by the management team and in some cases taken to a committee meeting. The concert room has the capacity to hold up to 300 people, the room has an area for a dance floor with disco lighting, a stage where a DJ can set up and plenty of room to set up a buffet.

Sheehan Lounge

The Sheehan Lounge is our main function room which holds around 150 people seated on two tiers. The bar is located on the bottom area. The lounge is available to hire throughout the week and at the weekends, the room is mainly used for wakes midweek and parties at the weekend.

The top tier of the sheehan lounge, all seats can be moved to how you would like them for your function. We just request they return to there original layout at the end of the night.

Our Sheehan lounge bar has been upgraded, we have everything on the bar you could need or want for your function. Any specific requests within reason can be catered for upon booking the room.

The bottom area of our Sheehan Lounge has been revamped to include a dance floor area, with a stage for a DJ or singer and has it’s own dance floor and stage lighting.

Catering

We can offer catering for all occasions, funerals, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and many more…

Our caterer is fully qualified with a up to date 5 star hygiene rating, prices start from £6.50 a head and all this can be discussed upon room hire.

Alternatively, you are welcome to sort your own catering arrangements however the club takes no responsibility for any issues with outside catering.

DJ

We don’t have a resident DJ but we can recommend DJ’s that we work closely with and support us at the club, just ask upon booking your room and we can share their contact details!

You are also free to hire and bring along your own DJ but we don’t accept DJ’s who don’t have public liability insurance. A certificate will need to be shown upon booking as this covers for any accidents that may cause damage to our venue and more importantly any injury to any person at a event.

Other services

Things like photo booths and sweet trolleys are also allowed but must be discussed with the club and agreed upon when booking of the room.

We cannot allow bouncy castles or amusement rides on club premises due to insurance reasons.


Hiring one of our function rooms

All our function rooms are subject to availability. The Sheehan lounge is available at all times and the concert room is available at all times except Saturday evenings.

For availability please contact the club on 01142313151. If the room is available then you will be invited to come and look around and to fill in a function room hire form where all the information you need will be provided.

When confirming your booking of the room you have one week to pay your deposit to secure your booking. If no deposit is paid the room may be offered to other guests.

Our function rooms are free to hire but a deposit of £200 (in cash only) is taken in case of damage, violence or excessive mess. If you are found to have brought your own alcohol in to the premises too this will also lead to a forfeit of your deposit.

Your deposit will be able to be retrieved a week after your event on a Sunday night between 7:30pm and 8:30pm ONLY! The receipt we provide to you when you pay your deposit must be kept safe and brought back to us when receiving your deposit back.
